I’m convinced that life really isn’t about the big things. I’m convinced that life is all about the small moments, that when strung together, become a chain of events, a way of life, or a dream come true. Now more than ever, I have to believe that my life isn’t about the big things, but more the small. I have to believe that in the midst of finding what my dream is and finding where I am supposed to be, I am making a difference, if I so choose.
You see, I believe its about the conversations. I believe its about the laughter, or the extra phone call, or the way you reached out to someone in need. I believe its all about knowing what makes you strong, knowing what helps you love, and sharing that with those around you. For me, this means my faith. I watched an interview today with Barbara Walters and Oprah. Oprah said these words, “Use me up, use all of me until there isn’t any more to use.” This really hit me, I want to be used up, and hopefully by giving of myself I can bring good into the world.
I believe if you are living everyday with all you can give, than you are living everyday with all you can give…and no one can tell you that’s not enough.

“Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? As it is written:
‘For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.’
No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. ” Romans 8: 35-39.
I think my favorite part is where Paul (the author of this book) asks if anything should separate us from the love of God, and he says, “Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?” And then with great power he says NO… in all these things we are MORE than conquerors through him who loved us. THROUGH HIM, not with our own strength, but through him we are MORE than conquerors. None of the things listed here, life, death, angels, demons, present, future, any power, height nor depth, ANYTHING in creation… none of these things has the power to separate us from the love of our God which is shown to us through Jesus Christ.
I think we are connected by a thousand little invisible strands. I think when a soul connects with another soul, it is instantly tied in some way, shape, or form. The strength of these strands are built around similar interests, laughter, love, intimacy and other connecting points. I believe God sews these strands, and as years pass, the strands become sturdier, they thicken through wear and tear and they thrive.
I am blessed to be sewn together with some amazing individuals. This weekend is a perfect example of when I felt these ties. I felt thousands of strands, sewn by God, connecting me to and from each person I was with. Warm, fleshy bodies on the outside, and full of love, life, encouragement, and passion on this inside. Friends, all trudging through life, using one hand to pull you, and the other to gently push.
I am blessed to be connected with friends who gently push me into the arms of my savior and I am thankful for friends who want to catch me with arms of love and kindness when I fall.
My name is Beth Landis and I want to break down the essentials for you :
Although I love the great state of Michigan, and this is the state I was born and raised I am more than willing to venture to new places across the United States.
I have had some AWESOME experiences. Experiences where I was challenged and pushed to be a leader. I developed skills in public relations, writing, event planning, media relations, project coordinating, and social media. And I can’t wait my skill set, and my personality work just right with a company or organization!
I would LOVE for you to check out some of my experiences on my LinkedIn profile, and I would also love to catch up with you after all of the #Happo madness is over! E-mail me at Bethlandis6@gmail.com or feel free to comment on my post! Thanks so much!
Music has the power to move, shake, and break me. Music can make you light, can make you cry, can fill your soul. It seems like I’ve always had this insatiable appetite for music. I love instrumental music, indie/folk music, dance beats, classical and especially worship music. Each type of music is special in its own way, but worship music brings me close to the heart of my savior, brings me peace and fills me with life.
So I will share with you 2 playlists, just the songs I am listening to as of late!
The first:Great beats for all:
The second: A Worship Playlist:
So there is the list, I hope you are blessed!

Today is a productive day. You may be asking yourself the question, “Well why Beth, why is it a productive day?”
Here is why:
I‘m inspired, right at the ol’ Barnes and Noble cafe. I am inspired by young graduates in my field rockin’ it all over the web with excellent ideas on social media and engaging people. I want to engage people. I love seeing young people, “The Millennials” if you will, becoming Thought Leaders, becoming a voice, and learning how to be heard in a sea of other voices.
So here I am, realizing that I want to be a little bit more relevant. I want to be fresh, bold, and innovative, because I believe in myself. I believe I possess what is necessary to be a strong voice or help someone be the voice of great change. I don’t want to be in PR just because its always changing and innovative, I want to be in PR because I want to engage people and change the world!!
So here I am, inspired, a little bit overwhelmed with all the thoughts buzzing around my head, and excited. Everyone needs to be hit with a bucket of freezing cold water here and there.
Alright, so here is what you may not know about me. Although I don’t maintain my own blog very well, (devastating, I know), I am absolutely addicted to blogs. My love started towards the end of college when I realized how relaxing it was to peruse the internet on stuff that I LOVED.
